ELP Conference is Going Green - We're Bringing The Conference to You!

ELP's water conference, Tapping Into Solutions: The Future of Water, is Going GREEN! No travel, no hassel, just 100% content and engagement from the comfort of your home or office. That's right our conference is going virtual so please join us September 28-29, 2010.

This conference, being planned by ELP Senior Fellows, will provide an exciting opportunity to engage in dialogue with 40 speakers about water quantity, quality and access. The conference will include 4 plenary sessions and 9 panels, plus online discussions and resource sharing through our conference wikis. Sessions will debate new trends, create new solutions and develop partnerships across academia, business, government and the non-profit sectors.

In addition to no travel or lodging costs, we're offering one and two day passes as well as special discounts for students.

 

2010 New England Fellowship Class Off to Strong Start

On July 22, 14 New England Leaders began their ELP Fellowship Program in Friendly Crossways Retreat Center in Harvard, MA. The first day of the 4 day retreat focused on creating community and building the foundation for the challenging two days of work focused on diversity and leading across difference. This year's diversity training has been redeveloped with the help of ELP Senior Fellow Marcelo Bonta, Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Diversity and the Environment, to incorporate more tools and actions for Fellows to bring back to their organizations, agencies and institutions. The orientation retreat concluded with sessions dedicated to the development of Fellows’ Personal Leadership Plans.
