
KC Sahl
Board Member
KC Sahl currently serves with VHB, a national leader in providing integrated consulting services. As the National Director of Offshore Wind and Northeast Energy Market Lead, he leads several large-scale strategic pursuits and expanded VHB’s offshore wind team, capabilities, and partnerships to serve the evolving needs of the US offshore wind marketplace. He has over ten years of renewable energy business experience and over 15 years of experience in public/private management. He holds an extensive professional network in renewable energy, government, and philanthropic sectors. KC was recently appointed by the Mayor of New York as Co-chair of the New York City Offshore Wind Advisory Council, which was established to oversee federal, state, and private investment to drive the City’s clean energy growth and help meet long-term sustainability goals. KC initiated Offshore Wind Environmental Professionals, an organization envisioned as a forum to discuss and collaborate on issues of environmental and social importance to the future of this burgeoning industry. He lives on New York City’s Lower East Side with his wife and his two high-school-aged boys. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys travel, backpacking, and mountain climbing with his family. KC values community and volunteers with the Henry Street Settlement, and he serves on the Board of Directors for New York City’s Natural Areas Conservancy. KC is excited about the opportunity to complement ELP’s dedicated board.
