Katie serves as a Hearing Officer at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, where she focuses primarily on distributed generation and renewable energy. Prior to that, Katie worked in private practice, litigating environmental and energy issues before state and federal courts, as well as administrative bodies. Bringing about a just and equitable energy future is a core career value for Katie, and one that guides both her personal and professional goals. She is also an active member of the Boston Bar Association and has participated in several volunteer programs through the organization. Katie received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy (MELP) from Vermont Law School.
