I am a PhD student at Yale University's School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and the Department of Anthropology. My research focuses on the intersections of techno-scientific knowledge and participatory practices in the U.S. climate movement. I previously directed the fundraising efforts and coordinated program development at the Pratt Center for Community Development, a community-driven urban planning practice within Pratt Insitute's urban planning graduate program in Brooklyn. I also previously worked for the Laborers’ Union in New York City and Long Island, developing and overseeing its residential energy efficiency programs, community partnerships and green jobs initiatives. I have experience designing and implementing energy efficiency policy and pollution prevention programs at the community, municipal and statewide levels, and in fostering partnerships among policymakers, community-based organizations, small businesses and organized labor. I hold a BA in Development Studies from Brown University.
