I am lucky enough to really love my job. I love that it changes every day and that I always have a least a half dozen very different irons in the fire.  Working with municipalities, getting my feet wet investigating a problem, trouble shooting water testing mysteries and working on complex projects like dam removals.  I enjoy it all.  I have worked with landowners and private, state and federal partners on the removal of four dams and am currently working with partners to remove a fifth and sixth dam.

I am responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives in the areas of program development and implementation, communications, staff relations and finance.  I am the Project Quality Assurance Officer for the MWA River Watcher Water Quality Monitoring Program and I lead the Musconetcong River Management Council, which implements the Musconetcong River Implementation Plan, created as a part of the Wild and Scenic Rivers designation process.

With Board members and other partners I was a member of the “Green Building Team” which built a U.S. Green Building Platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified River Resource Center which is the headquarters of the MWA.  The MWA is currently restoring an 1865 Mill and I am involved in that project as well it is quite a challenge.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Environmental Management from Montclair State University.

I live in Warren County just over a mile from the Musconetcong River with my husband Brendan and two of my five children.  Still at home are Ian 17, and Lisa 9 years old.  I have a son Keith at Rutgers and a son Jimmy at the University of North Carolina.  My daughter Maria has finished college and lives in Atlanta.  Oh,and a 3 year-old Airedale named Chico, and a new puppy Airedale named Pablo.
