I am originally from Kimberton Pennsylvania and after graduating from Temple University in 2007 with a BS in Environmental Studies, I moved to St. Simon's Island Georgia to start a career in Environmental Education. After falling in love with teaching, I attended the University of New Hampshire to receive my masters in Environmental Education. I returned to Philadelphia in 2009 and began working for Philadelphia Parks and Recreation at the Wissahickon Environmental Center as their Watershed Educator. In 2012, I began working at the Lower Merion Conservancy as their Education Director. I currently live in Center City Philadelphia and I am a beekeeper with hives both in Lower Merion and in the Wissahickon Park.
