Douglas Rambo is the senior hydrologist/Source Water Program Coordinator for the Source Water Assessment and Protection Program at the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) where he has worked since 1999. His duties include the delineation of wellhead protection areas; reporting on contamination, vulnerability, and susceptibility of drinking water supplies; data management for inter-agency and public data requests, and administration of program related databases. Prior to his career at DNREC he worked as staff geologist for the Artesian Water Company in Newark, DE. He holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Delaware and is a Licensed Professional Geologist in Delaware. Mr. Rambo previously served as the president of the Delaware Board of Professional Geologists and holds memberships in the Leidy Microscopical Society, International Association of Hydrogeologists, and the Mineralogical Society of America. Mr. Rambo also serves as the National Secretary for the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG).
