Jeff Kasowitz is Vice President of School Relations at City Year, a large, national education-focused nonprofit.  In this role, Jeff leads the organization’s strategy for building transformative partnerships with school districts and schools across the country.  Jeff also serves as Chief Strategist for the Boston Tree Party, an urban agriculture and participatory public art project in the greater Boston area.  Jeff sits on the boards of Hybrid Vigor Projects and the Nehar Shalom Community Synagogue.  In 2008, Jeff was awarded the Paul and Phyllis Fireman Public Service Fellowship at City Year and in 2010 he was a Combined Jewish Philanthropies Presentense social entrepreneurship fellow.  Jeff is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with an MBA and Masters of Public Health and holds a BA in Economics from Union College.  Jeff lives in Jamaica Plain, MA with his wife, Adina Allen, and best four-legged friend, Barley.
