The Rev. Jenny Phillips is Creation Care Program Manager for the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Through her work developing resources, writing curriculum, and preaching and teaching, she helps people of faith re-read Biblical texts in ways that offer new insights for contemporary issues. Jenny founded Fossil Free UMC, a fossil fuel divestment campaign resulting in the creation of fossil free investment options for United Methodist investors. Jenny has a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York, NY and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington. She lives in Decatur, GA with her husband and two sons.
