Jennifer Gonzalez is the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Hoboken, New Jersey where she advances sustainability and resiliency initiatives in priority areas including: rainfall flooding, energy, drinking water infrastructure, natural resources, waste management, and others. Before joining the City of Hoboken, Jennifer was a principal planner with Louis Berger where she managed post-Sandy community reconstruction plans and environmental review documents. She holds a certificate from the American Institute of Certified Planners, is a Certified Floodplain Manager, Envision Sustainability Professional, LEED Green Associate, and Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program. Jennifer earned her Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy from Lehigh University where she currently serves as a Young Alumni Trustee on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Lehigh University Alumni Association Board.
