Kristin recently received her Master of Environmental Management degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University. At school, her studies were focused on climate change adaptation and resilience, climate science, and the impacts of climate change on human migration.



For her summer internship, Kristin worked with the World Resources Institute (WRI) where she conducted desk research on loss and damage in the context of the U.N. climate negotiations to help build a platform for future engagement.



Before beginning her studies at Yale, Kristin was a Senior Program Officer at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). During her time at MCC she served as the Washington, DC based country program representative responsible for managing oversight of international development programs. Her work included a diverse set of countries, with equally diverse program portfolios including road infrastructure, capacity building, health and educational facility rehabilitations, energy and environment, and land tenure. Kristin worked on programs in Jordan, Moldova, Mongolia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Vanuatu.



Prior to joining MCC, Kristin spent time at the Ford Motor Company’s Washington Affairs Office, and the U.S. House of Representatives as a Deputy Legislative Assistant responsible for legislative matters dealing with foreign affairs, human rights, and trade.



Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado State University with a focus in comparative politics and is a certified Project Management Professional.
