Sandy is from Portland, Maine where she is the project coordinator for the Maine Food Strategy, a food systems planning initiative focused on implementing collaborative actions to bolster Maine's food economy. Sandy is a recent graduate of a Master's program in Policy, Planning, and Management at the Muskie School for Public Service in Portland, Maine. Previously, Sandy worked for a solar tech start-up, and moved around the country teaching environmental education to middle and elementary school kids. Sandy enjoys a myriad of outdoor activities, and loves the Portland restaurant and culture scene.
