I’m inspired by the connection between parks and people, terrestrial and marine ecosystems, as well as our urban and rural communities. As Associate Director of the Park Stewardship Program, I work with a motivated team of individuals and several land management agencies to engage community members, including youth, in conservation efforts within the Golden Gate National Parks and surrounding lands of Mount Tamalpais in Marin County. Some of our activities include restoring ecosystems for endangered species habitat, building and maintaining trails for preserving habitat and providing recreational access, and actively working to be more inclusive of our surrounding communities. My background is in geography, cartography, and natural resources management, with a strong interest in organization development and principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
