Born in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Michelle has always loved the outdoors.  She is an avid hiker, x-country skier, alpine skier and walker.   Being an environmentalist was never a choice for Michelle.  She has worked for Clean Water Action for 9 years and has developed an interest in protecting public health through the environment.   Michelle is grateful for her years of canvassing experience because they have taught her that good people who care can always be found.  She will keep finding them and she will keep convincing them to help make democracy work.

Michelle is currently working to keep toxic chemicals out of food packaging, reduce waste, promote carbon pricing and supervise canvass outreach teams.  She has a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University and a M.Sc. in Environmental Resource Management from the Vrije Universiteit in The Netherlands.
