Katie is a versatile program director with 20 years of experience working in youth development, education, and operational management in the public sector and with non-profit organizations.  She is passionate about making systems better - both on a micro level (ie. does this spreadsheet meet our needs?) and a macro level (let's talk about how the global economy affects the environment or the racial disparity of the U.S. prison population).

She is currently exploring career "pivot" moves that might encompass her passion for bringing more diversity, equity, and inclusion into the workplace, as well as her joy for storytelling.

Outside of professional pursuits, Katie can be found running ultramarathons, playing board games, fishing, reading the news, and drinking coffee or craft beer with friends out on the deck.
