Personal pronouns: He, him, his

I work as a Conservation Planner for the state of Maryland. In this position, I assist farmers address resource concerns on their farms and enroll them in programs that provide cost sharing and green payments to implement and maintain best management practices.

I've been working in sustainable agriculture for most of my career, starting with an Ecoforestry/Organic Farming apprenticeship in Nova Scotia. After gaining experience on several farms in New England, I started and managed a CSA in Maryland for several years before moving on to Philadelphia to manage larger scale CSA. There, I developed a Sustainable Farming Apprenticeship program that provided a framework for Pasa Sustainable Agriculture to develop their Diversified Vegatable Apprenticeship.

After getting married in 2013, I moved and established an agricultural contracting and consulting business. I maintained a diversity of clients including a start-up food hub, small-scale vegetable farms, and residential clients who wanted to establish small vegetable plots in their yard.

I have a Masters of Science in Resource Management and Administration from Antioch New England Graduate School, and also worked for American Farmland Trust's consulting services division on a diversity of projects including the Cost of Community Services studies.
