After many years in higher education, I made a career transition to the environmental field when I moved to Maryland in 2015.I bring to this work an ability to listen deeply, understand systems, and engage in meaningful dialogue. I am curious about contemplative ecology, and the role it may have to play in personal and social resilience. I am also interested in how to rewrite outdated environmental and organizational narratives that are based on exclusion and harm. Finally, I believe that humor and good-will are necessary and active components of human resilience during this era of the long emergency.
