I am a passionate climate justice activist. I am sarcastic and direct (aka Bostonian) with a touch of anger at the injustices and imbalance of our systems. I am a disabled combat veteran who has a great partner, adorable puppy and a cabin in the woods. I have a graduate degree in Sustainable International Development with a specialization in environmental conservation from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management from Brandeis University. The long and short is I went from nuclear command and control in the Air Force to grad school to field work in Cambodia to working on climate justice in a local conservation organization...in Fairbanks Alaska. Somehow I am a control freak and adaptable, super awkward and frequently quite funny. I love to dance and read, ski and walk, but am having a hard time finding the time to do that while engaging in the movement. Essentially, I am seeking balance in an unbalanced world.
