Daiva Gylys is the Chicago Program Manager with the Student Conservation Association. She first started working with the SCA in 2011 as a summer crew leader and has been in her current position as the program manager since February 2017. She works with teens and young adults to assist in conservation career placement with local landowning agencies as well as other partner organizations. 


Daiva has previously worked in the not for profit sector as a Program Coordinator and Restoration Crew Supervisor with Friends of the Forest Preserves. She has a BA in Environmental Science and Sociocultural Anthropology with a minor in Peace and Social Justice from the University of Michigan.
