Jenny Partch, is pastor at Highline United Methodist Church in Burien, WA, where she has served for 3 years. Jenny is also the Project Manager for the Hazel Valley Community Garden located on the church property. The garden project grew out of the church's vision of Beloved Community that includes the environment and the health and nutritional needs of families living in the neighborhood.

Having grown up on a farm in the Yakima Valley, Jenny has always been active in tending plants and animals. Her family routinely camped in the Cascade Mountain Range and picked wild huckleberries every fall. As a young teen, Jenny experienced the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in 1980, which impacted her sense of the interconnectedness of life and nature in a dramatic way.

Jenny has worked in congregations in the greater Seattle area for approximately 18 years focusing on music, youth, families and the community; and as a pastor for six of those years. Prior to her work in the church, Jenny was a board certified Music Therapist working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, older adults with stroke and dementia, and at Children's Hospital in oncology.

With her husband, Andy Morgan, of 16 years and two children, Henry 14 and Isabelle 12, Jenny lives in Des Moines, WA.
