Sharon Bort serves as the Community Relations Officer for Solve’s Sustainability pillar (e.g., energy, environment, climate change, agriculture, and water). She brings her enthusiasm for sustainability to cultivate new partnerships with innovators and leaders around the world to find solutions to global challenges.
Before joining Solve, Sharon worked at Hubway, Metro-Boston’s bike share, as their HR Manager to create a more streamlined processes and fun and collaborative work environment. Previously, she served as Wellesley College’s Sustainability Coordinator. In this position, she used her skills in systems thinking to create a more sustainable, resilient, and engaging culture, as well as a campus-wide sustainability plan.
Outside of work, Sharon is an avid traveler, cyclist, podcast listener, gardener, and baker. She is also involved in her local community as an organizer for Civic Series, Net Impact, and the Riverway Project. She has a B.A. in Global Environmental Studies from Clark University and an M.B.A. in Sustainability from Antioch New England University.
