Bridget Bergquist

Bridget Bergquist is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan. Her recently completed her doctorate in chemical oceanography at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Joint Program, where she studied the iron cycle in the ocean. Previously, Bridget worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory, researching transport of nuclear contaminants in the environment from atmospheric fallout, nuclear reprocessing plants, and local disposal sites. Bridget also is active in environmental education and activities focusing on increasing women's participation in science.
