Danilo is the volunteer regional coordinator for Co-op Power Boston Metro East. Co- op Power is a consumer-owned energy cooperative serving New York and New England. It is a regional network of local communities creating a multi-class, multi-racial movement for a sustainable and just energy future. Previously, Danilo worked as operations coordinator for Oke USA, a Watertown-based fair trade fruit company that specializes in the importation of tropical fruits from South America. He is originally from Ecuador, where he earned a degree in business and worked with indigenous communities, small farmers and fishermen. His focus was on eliminating the "middle man" and obtaining fairer prices for the products by connecting these diverse groups directly to the market. Currently he lives in Jamaica Plain, MA.
