Townsend Bailey

Townsend Bailey is Vice-President in charge of operations and client services at Damespointe, where he has served as a project manager and management consultant for Damespointe's major clients. Damespointe is a management consulting firm, whose main practice area is in strategic corporate responsibility and sustainability. Since 2007, he has worked with Damespointe's client, Sustainable Atlanta, which is Mayor Franklin's initiative to make Atlanta a world-class sustainable city. He currently serves as Sustainable Atlanta's Deputy Executive Director, where he manages the organizations programs and strategic initiatives, including the Sustainable Building Taskforce. Townsend received his MBA from the J. Mack Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University, where he co-founded the Georgia State chapter of Net Impact. Prior to business school, Townsend's 7 years of experience as a teacher and varsity coach laid the foundation for his skills in management, planning, motivation, public speaking, and evaluation. Townsend earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University and his Masters of Education from the University of Notre Dame. He currently serves as President of the Georgia Conservancy's Generation Green board and as Vice-Chairman on the Friends of the Atlanta Youth Academy board. Townsend is a LEED Accredited Professional.
