In 2016, Lindsay joined Protect Our Winters (back) in Boulder, CO as Manager of Advocacy and Campaigns after spending the winter skiing in Lake Tahoe. In 2015, Lindsay completed a Masters of Environmental Law and Policy at Vermont Law School in South Royalton, VT. Previously, Lindsay was the Advocacy Manager for the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) in Boulder, CO, where she worked on a variety of recreation and trade policy initiatives on behalf of Association members: outdoor retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers. Her role included the development of a membership engagement plan and advocacy trainings to directly involve outdoor companies in policy. Prior to her time at OIA, Lindsay spent four years with the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) in Portland, ME as the Maine Policy Associate where she focused on research and lobbying on state-level conservation policy and building and managing a coalition of businesses, non-profits, and government entities committed to getting more Mainers active outdoors. She served as the first chair for the Maine Outdoor Coalition and developed and coordinated the statewide Great Maine Outdoor Weekend. Lindsay now serves on the Board of Advisors for the AMC. During her time in Portland, Lindsay was on the board of directors for both the Friends of Baxter State Park and Portland Greendrinks. Lindsay holds a BA in Geology and Environmental Sciences from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.
