Louise Gava

ERN (2014)

Community Choice Aggregation Project Leader

Saratoga Springs, New York

A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Louise fell in love with the North Country community and decided to stay, working as the campus' first Sustainability Coordinator for over eight years.  Louise built her homestead including her ‘tiny house’ and Community Supported Agriculture Farm on 15 acres of land in Canton, NY.  In 2015 Louise moved to Saratoga Springs, NY and switched her focus to supporting municipalities as they actualize New York's new energy vision.  An avid bicycle commuter, scrounger, food preservationist and whole foods cook, Louise is adjusting to life in a 'city' while still trying to focus on the joys of a simple life.

ELPers always welcome to stay in my apartment if visiting Saratoga Springs!
