John is an active member of his town’s Sustainable Jersey Green Team, where he helped launch and continues to grow the township’s Green Business Recognition Program, an initiative to support local businesses striving to operate more sustainably.
John is a Rutgers Environmental Steward, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate, and a volunteer leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club, where he leads backpacking trips for novices and experienced hikers.
