Jen is the Outreach Coordinator at Riverkeeper, which fights to protect the Hudson River and its tributaries. In her current position, Jen manages the volunteer program, coordinates the annual Riverkeeper Sweep, and works closely program staff to educate and activate communities throughout the region. Her initial position at Riverkeeper was through the FAO Schwarz Family Foundation Fellowship Program which supports developing leaders in the youth education and enrichment field. Outside of her work at Riverkeeper, she is a committee member of Green Ossining, Ossining Documentary and Discussion Series, and enjoys reading, hiking, and baking pie. Prior to joining Riverkeeper, Jen coordinated an internship program at Rutgers University at New Brunswick for the New Jersey Public Interest Research Group teaching college students how to advocate for social and environmental causes within their campus community. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo where she studied English and Environmental Studies, fought for the New York State fracking ban with Frack Free Genesee, and founded a divestment campaign on campus with the Geneseo Environmental Organization.
