Brian is the Finance Director at the Sunrise Movement. He is passionate about building better organizations and finding ways to decentralize money in movements.
He grew up in Mexico City and Chicago, IL where he became passionate about local water issues in Lake Michigan through programs at the Shedd Aquarium. Since then he has organized youth in Chicago to take action on climate at CYACA and worked at the Sierra Club's youth arm (SSC).
He holds a B.S in Social and Economic Development and Applied Economics from IIT and has participated in a variety of fellowships like YP4, the Obama Chicago Corps and the Roosevelt Institute where he focused on local economic development issues in the city.
