Volunteer & Environmental Program Manager

Fairmount Park Conservancy

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Personal pronouns: She, her, hers

I am the Volunteer & Environmental Program Manager at Fairmount Park Conservancy, a nonprofit that supports Philly's public parks. I joined the Conservancy in 2015 after spending over a year working on the TreePhilly program at our partner organization, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation.

I manage the Conservancy’s volunteer and environmental programs, including Love Your Park, Volunteer Leadership, and TreePhilly. My goal is to create opportunities for Philadelphians to learn about and engage with Philadelphia’s incredible, abundant park system, and my primary focus is working with volunteers. I support park users who want to go above and beyond to help maintain our parks and natural areas while also learning new skills and building community.

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania, but I have called Philly for almost 20 years. After graduating from Temple with a BA in English in Spanish, I worked for disability rights, education, and community arts nonprofits in Philadelphia. Later I worked as a communications manager at the Graduate School of Education while earning my Master’s of Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. I live in South Philly, so of course my favorite park is the lakes (FDR)!
