Ms. Kyle J. Zieba has worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) regional office in Philadelphia for almost 22 years in both regulatory and voluntary programs to protect human health and the environment, including the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Currently, she’s the EPA Mid-Atlantic region’s State and Congressional Liaison for the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia engaging and developing relationships with federal, state and local elected and appointed officials and external stakeholders.
Kyle is a third-year doctoral student in Eastern’s Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership program and the program’s Graduate Assistant. She has been the project manager for a qualitative research study on leadership development with me (Dr. Lee-Chuvala) the lead researcher and author for 1.5 years. Kyle got into project management based on her results-oriented, managerial, and organizing skills. She is a leader in Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement methods and tools and has achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster award as a member of Toastmasters International for 18 years.
