Each year, ELP interviews a few hundred applicants for our Fellowship Programs.  The review and selection process is carried out by Senior Fellows. Essentially those that are a part of the community, select and invite new Fellows into the ELP Community.  Being a part of the Selection Process is a way to stay engaged and to get to know other Senior Fellows around the country.  It is also a great way to help ELP, as we continue to build a robust community of environmental and social change leaders. We could not do this without you!

How it Works
Once you have joined the Committee, you will be paired with another Senior Fellow to carry out the interviews.  We do our best to match those who have participated in a previous selection process with volunteers who are participating for the first time.  Next, you will connect with your interview teammate and find times that you would like to set up interviews. Interviews will take place within a two week period. Each interview should be allotted 30 minutes and you will be assigned up to 6 candidates to interview.  It is your responsibility to schedule the interviews with your partner and the applicant.  You will be provided with a conference call number to use for your interviews and will have access to each candidate's application materials.
