LCV is seeking a State Democracy Policy Intern who will support the State Democracy Policy Director in working with LCV and our 30+ state affiliates, collectively referred to as the Conservation Voters Movement (CVM), to support our network-wide democracy program that advances bold policies at the state level. They will provide valuable support to state affiliates and the LCV democracy team, offering timely assistance to states, legislation tracking, and research for policy papers on priority issues. The State Democracy Policy Intern will also play a supporting role in collecting resources, identifying state legislative victories, and facilitating coalition spaces.

LCV is seeking a Communications Intern who will support the Communications Department with its external communications on owned, earned and social media. The Communications Intern will support and learn from the entire communications team, and will assist in drafting and distributing content across all of the communications team’s platforms and audiences, which may include drafting blog posts, press statements and releases, social media copy and the weekly tipsheet. The Communications Intern will also play a key role supporting the earned media team by distributing LCV’s daily news clips to LCV staff across the country, maintaining press lists, gathering content at press events, and pitching press as needed.
