David Chang joined WE ACT in the summer of 2013 as an intern helping to put together educational materials for the Environmental Health and Justice Leadership Training (EHJLT) Program.  In the fall of 2014, David was brought on board to staff the Environmental Health Associate position where he currently works on three projects 1) co-facilitating the EHJLT program, 2) working with academic partners at the NIEHS Center for Environmental Health in Northern Manhattan via “Assessing and Strengthening Post-Storm Resilience in NYC High Rise Public Housing” research study, and 3) the WE ACT for Environmental Justice Environmental Health Report Card for Northern Manhattan. Prior to working at WE ACT, David conducted social science research for the NYC Urban Field Station (a partnership between the USDA Forest Service Northern Research Station and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation) and held several environmental education positions with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department as well as the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.  He holds a BA in Environmental Studies/Biology from UC Santa Cruz and an MA in Environmental Conservation Education from New York University.
