Beth is the Stewardship Associate at New England Forestry Foundation, a land trust dedicated to conserving forestland and promoting exemplary forest management as a means to support healthy, resilient communities. She works on conservation easements and community forests from Connecticut to Maine. Prior to joining NEFF, Beth ran the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Bay Circuit Trail volunteer program outside Boston from 2014-2017. Her winding path as an outdoor professional also included an AmeriCorps service year and seasonal work around the country in environmental education, seed collection, and trail work. As a kid from suburban Maryland, Beth learned to love being immersed in nature thanks to formative experiences at summer camp in and around the Blue Ridge mountains. Beth has a B.A. in Biology from Oberlin College.
