Ted Wong is an ecologist, teacher, and programmer. He has a Master's in forestry from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a PhD in ecology and evolutionary biology from Stanford University, and he taught ecology, botany, environmental science, and data-centered thinking to college students for fifteen years. In addition to building and deploying data and modeling tools at the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities at the World Resources Institute, Ted is a cofounder of a small software startup, Bellwether Collaboratory, which works with communities to collaboratively build systems models and find root causes of persistent institutional and societal problems.
