Sarah Bursky is currently the Program Manager for the New England Ocean Science Education Collaborative, a New England wide collaborative of institutions committed to ocean science and education. She was previously the Education and Engagement Program Manager for The Trustees of Reservations, a Massachusetts Land Trust committed to protecting the distinct character of communities across the State and inspiring a commitment to special places. Sarah completed graduate work in the University of Vermont's Field Naturalist/Ecological Planning Program. Her thesis work involved partnering with the National Park Service to bring the University's place-based education program to southern VT to build a regional identity within a shared watershed. Though a native of Philadelphia, she now lives in Boston and after many years in the conservation community in Vermont, she considers herself a New Englander at heart.
