As the Chesapeake Regional Director at Clean Water Action, Brent oversees c3 advocacy campaigns, c4 election work, and a team of advocates, organizers, and field canvassers working to empower people to take action to protect America's waters, build healthy communities, and to make democracy work for all of us. Brent has an interdisciplinary educational background in law, science, and public policy and has focused on communicating at the nexus of these disciplines. He is a graduate of Indiana University, receiving his doctor of jurisprudence (JD) from the School of Law and his master of public affairs (MPA) from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). Brent is a proud member of the 25th class of Leadership Prince George’s and volunteers with numerous community organizations. He lives in Mount Rainier, MD, where he just finished a four year term on the city council.
