Carrie has served in the non-profit community for the past six years after graduating from the University of Delaware in 2012 with a degree in Environmental Science. Her experience is in the environmental/outdoor education field and has a passion for working with youth. Carrie's strong foundation in education and professional wilderness experience has given her the opportunity to work with kids in a variety of outdoor settings including nature centers, residential environmental education centers, as well as the east coast and mountain wilderness. She's taught diverse science and wilderness curriculum, as well as managed academic education programs and a teen outdoor recreation program.
Recently transitioning to Colorado to follow her dream of living and working in the mountains, Carrie works for Keystone Science School as one of their Program Coordinators, planning and leading an assortment of programs such as wilderness trips, school programs, and Girls in STEM. She also works part time for for Arapahoe Basin Ski and Snowboard Area in Guest Services. Carrie enjoys hiking, rock climbing, yoga, reading, snowboarding, and photography.
