My passion for environmental issues stems from my high school career in Milan, Italy, where I attended an international baccalaureate school. There, I once spent an entire summer testing the impacts of dishwasher detergent on plants, filling my family's apartment with hundreds of radishes and experiments.
This passion led me to pursue an Honors Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science at Northeastern University, which I received in fall of 2016. During my studies, I published over 21 environmentally-focused articles of the Northeastern University Science Magazine, as well as held roles as the Treasurer, Marketing and PR Head, and President. Furthermore, I took advantage of four sustainability-related study abroad opportunities, one international environmental research internship, and two years of internships in environmental science and clean energy. Previously, I have held positions as an environmental scientist, at a solar startup, at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, and at the nation's largest cleantech incubator.
Firmly cementing my desire to pursue a career in clean energy and sustainability, I re-joined Greentown Labs in January 2017 as the Recruitment and Wet Lab Project Manager. In addition to developing an 1800 sq ft chemistry lab, I aim to radiate passion for cleantech entrepreneurship and utilize data to develop effective strategies for recruiting new member companies.
In my free time, I love to travel, pet other people's cats (because I miss mine), drink wine, listen to music, and eat good food. If you ever are searching for someone to try out a new restaurant or unique food group, I'm your person!
