Emily Celano currently works as a Program Manager for EBI Consulting, a consulting firm that provides due diligence, engineering, and environmental compliance and sustainability services to organizations seeking to improve operating efficiencies, lower costs, manage risk and exceed stakeholder expectations. Previously, Emily worked as a Project Manager for EFI Global, Inc., a full-service Forensic Engineering, Fire Investigation, Environmental, and Specialty Consulting services firm; as an Environmental Risk Analyst for Santander Bank (formerly Sovereign Bank) with principle markets in the northeastern U.S.; and as an Environmental Scientist for Mid-Atlantic Associates, Inc. an environmental and engineering consulting firm focusing on property transaction due diligence and environmental remediation services. The majority of Emily’s professional experiences have revolved around environmental due diligence, contamination and regulatory compliance associated with the built environment. Emily has a Masters of Liberal Arts Degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University Extension School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science and Biology from Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Emily is a member of Net Impact Boston Professional Chapter, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Massachusetts Chapter, a LEED Green Associate, and a Senior Fellow through the Environmental Leadership Program. Emily enjoys attending lectures and events related to the built environment, sustainability, and environmental stewardship, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
