Graciela Cabello is currently the National Director at Latino Outdoors and works towards building a network of individuals in conservation, environment, and recreation, for the purpose of expanding the outdoor experience for Latino communities, and inserting a more inclusive narrative in the mainstream outdoor movement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay.
Prior to joining Latino Outdoors she worked in project management, side by side with film studios, television networks, and ad agencies on a multitude of marketing and programming initiatives.
Graciela is passionate about the outdoors but also committed to elevating the voices of Latino communities, and highlighting cultural connections to nature. She particularly enjoys bringing people together through recreation activities for the purpose of strengthening interpersonal relationships, and an appreciation for the natural world. Her goal is to share the transformative and healing power of the outdoors, so in turn more communities can feel empowered to protect it for generations ahead. She loves to camp, hike, ski, cycle, rock climb, kayak, but mostly to spend quality time around a campfire with friends and family.
As part of her role with Latino Outdoors, Graciela is focused on building the infrastructure, growing capacity, supporting the leaders, and cultivating strong partnerships. To contact Graciela, please send her an email to: [email protected] or connect with her via twitter: @TweetGraciela
