Jenine Serviolo is a strategic management consultant and trainer who draws from 15 years of experience empowering her clients to effectively lead their organizations to achieve sustainable strategies. Drawing on Relationship Awareness Theory® and using her communication, strategic planning, and management expertise, Jenine works with her clients to facilitate the development, execution, and management of strategic organizational change.
As a consultant, trainer, and sustainability champion, Jenine helps individuals and groups develop their leadership skills to work intentionally to achieve their strategic objectives. Highlights include:

helping develop meaningful measurement, reporting, and outreach tools to ensure strategic outcomes are realized and communicated throughout the organization
While continually striving to increase her expertise in the many facets of sustainability, Jenine has a particular passion for sustainable food systems and the development and operations of green buildings and communities. She supports “Good, Clean and Fair” food through her participation in Slow Food, TEDx Manhattan, and similar groups. On the green building front, Jenine is pursuing her Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate accreditation. Her company, SMART Management Consulting, LLC is a member of the US Green Building Council and Jenine is a member of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy and has participated Urban Land Institute activities throughout the years. Jenine has also begun the work to enter the Sustainability and Environmental Management Graduate Program at the Harvard Extension School.
Jenine's recent contributions to the strategy management profession include her work updating the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Standard for Portfolio Management (3rd Edition). She also participated in an expert’s panel at the 2011 CPIC Conference, where she received the CPIC Alliance Award for Portfolio Management. She has presented 'Strategic Performance Management' and 'Portfolio Management for the Project Manager' at the DC and Hampton Roads PMI chapters. She has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2005 and has her Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
