Jessica is the Program Manager for ELP’s Fellowship Programs. Jessica has over a decade of experience working and volunteering with food and farm nonprofits, from overseeing a statewide organic certification program at Pennsylvania Certified Organic, to managing the national collective of Buy Fresh Buy Local Chapters with the FoodRoutes Network. Jessica has been a longtime family member employee at Milky Way Farms, a 4 th generation Pennsylvania grass-based dairy with an on-farm retail store and a glass milk jug bottling operation. Her contributions as a woman in agriculture are featured in Temra Costa’s 2010 book, Farmer Jane: Women Changing the Way We Eat. Jessica is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Geography and a Minor in Agronomy, and is a ELP Senior Fellow (ERN ’08).

Jessica co-founded the Shon Seeley Legacy Fund for Sustainable Farming Education through the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, and enjoys volunteering with their annual “Dairy Dash” 5K race. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys cooking, gardening, and hitting the right notes on her karaoke songs. She and her two fantastic kids reside in Troy, PA.
