Joe Sehee is the founder and former executive director of the Green Burial Council; a nonprofit trust provider and lead steward of an expanding environmental/social/consumer movement. In addition to coining the term "conservation burial" and helping establish the World's first verifiable standards for burial grounds that contribute to the protection and restoration of habitat, Joe has consulted entities exploring the use of end-of-life rituals as a new means of expanding state and national parks. A Peabody Award-winning journalist, Joe also worked for four years as a Jesuit lay minister at the University of San Francisco where he directed the campus peace and social justice program. He is past chairman of Leadership Santa Fe and a former commissioner on the City of Santa Fe Sustainability Commission.
