Kate Mannle is the Director of Campaigning for Conservation at Rare, an international conservation non-profit. She has 16+ years in biodiversity conservation with 10 years developing behavior change programs for natural resource professionals in 20 countries. She has partnered with organizations such as the Global Island Partnership, The Nature Conservancy, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Equator Initiative, and IUCN to deliver beahvior change and social marketing trainings. Prior to Rare she worked as an environmental consultant and forestry technician in the Pacific Northwest. Kate holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Bates College and a MSc. in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from The University of Oxford. She lives in Seattle, WA and when not working she can be found outside backcountry skiing, hiking, or paddle boarding.
