Le'alani Boykin, AICP
Le`alani is a Native Hawaiian dedicated to collaborative, participatory public processes. She has served as a Community Planner in Colorado and New York City since 2008. She's provided community engagement and participatory planning assistance to local governments, non-profits, and community groups who are passionate about creating recreational and green space opportunities in their neighborhoods. Her commitment to communities begins with a firm grasp of the players, understanding their stories and qualities, needs and concerns. Together, she and community leaders collaboratively design public engagement processes that educate, inspire and activate those audiences into working together for a common goal. Le`alani holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from CU Boulder and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from CU Denver.
