Lee Fithian is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma, College of Architecture. Her research program is highly interdisciplinary and vested in expanding the resource generating potential of the built environment. She is currently working on the use of building facades to enhance air quality in urban canyons, understanding physiological response and spatial perception and their impact on urban design, and the resource application of urban green infrastructure and ecosystem services. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Certified Planners, the U.S. Green Building Council as well as a registered architect in the State of Oklahoma and nationally with NCARB.
