As the Director of The Common Market Georgia, Lily manages the Georgia team and oversees activities related to product receiving, quality control, shipping, trucking, sales and, customer and vendor relationships. Prior to her work at The Common Market, she has spent the majority of her academic career researching environmental and social issues, like the impact of food deserts on metro Atlanta communities. She likes to learn more about solutions to such problems and figure out the entrepreneurial spirit that made things happen. Past work experience includes healthy food marketing and supermarket research for the Arthur M Blank Foundation and Georgia Food Oasis, a movement in Westside Atlanta to identify community partners that are working to stimulate positive change in food desert communities. She is a 2015 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Lily likes to work in a fast-paced environment with passionate people who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. She prefers to get caught up in small details to get a better understanding of the bigger picture. Lily wants to inspire people to change their world for the better, but more importantly, she wants to be inspired by people who love what they do. Her current work at The Common Market Georgia is fulfilling all aspects of her passions.
