Lylianna has dedicated over a decade of her career in the environmental sector as a restoration ecologist, environmental educator, facilitator, and community builder. Currently, Lylianna is an Outreach Coordinator for Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal of Washington District 07. In this role she focuses on environmental issues amongst others. She holds a B.A in English, a certificate in Wetland Science & Management from University of Washington, and a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Georgetown University. She is a graduate of the National Hispana Leadership Institute, United Way of King County’s Project LEAD, The Center for Diversity & the Environment’s 2042 Today, and is a Senior Fellow of ELP's first Pacific Northwest Regional Network class. She is passionate about racial equity, gender justice, environmental justice, and Missy Elliott. Lylianna Chairs the City of Seattle's Park District Oversight Committee and is on the board of Seattle based non-profit Got Green. She loves to dance, eat cheeseburgers, and give hugs.
